Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Winemaking
The 100% Vernaccia di San Gimignano grapes are hand-picked from the vineyards into crates and immediately sent to the winery for pneumatic pressing under inert gas.
After low-temperature static separation of the lees, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature of 20°C. Once the sugars have matured, the wine is racked and cleaned until bottling.
Excellent clarity, pale straw yellow color with light greenish highlights, a very intense and delicate aroma with pleasant notes of fruit, flowers, and almond. The flavor is dry, smooth, and very fresh. Pleasantly fruity with a subtle almond aftertaste.
The broad, clean aroma lingers long in the mouth. Serve at 11-12°C.
