SAN GIMIGNANO SYRAH

Winemaking: Late harvest of selected Syrah clusters, picked by hand from our own organic vineyards. After gentle destemming and crushing, fermentation takes place in temperature‑controlled cement vetrificato tanks, prolonging maceration to extract colour and structure. Post‑malolactic wine is aged in oak barrels for about 12 months, enhancing complexity and softness.

 

Organoleptic characteristics: Deep ruby red colour with violet reflections. Nose of ripe black berry fruit, blackberry and plum, with hints of pepper, spices and delicate melted oak. The palate is full‑bodied, silky‑tannic, balanced and long‑lasting, with an elegant spicy finish.

 

Food Pairings: Well suited to grilled meats, lamb, game, mature cheeses and hearty savoury dishes.


Serving temperature: To be served at 18–20 °C.
